What is a WordCamp?
A WordCamp is a day-long conference-like event that centers around WordPress, the free and open-source software.
These events are usually annual events held across several cities around the world. The Pune WordPress Meetup community members have been planning an experimental WordCamp event.
We are planning on having no single speaker but instead have workshop-like tracks with several facilitators, who will help people learn and interact with WordPress – the software and its ecosystem.
The WordCamp Pune 2024 is a paid event and the ticket price is INR 500.

Date: 17th February 2024 (Saturday)
Venue: 5th Floor, A-Wing, MCCIA Trade Tower,
403, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune-411 016.

What’s up next?
By the end of this week, we plan to announce a call for sponsors, a call for volunteers and also make our tickets live along with a blog post that dives deeper in the more details on the format for this event.

What are the timings for the events?
Approximately we start registrations by 9 am and the event closes by 5 pm.
