No event can come to fruition without some amazing, hardworking volunteers. And to help make WordCamp Pune 2024 a memorable event, we need your help.
If you register as a volunteer for the day of the event (17th of February, 2024), you get some cool WordPress swag as a souvenir! After all, you are contributing towards your local open-source community and heroes like you deserve a treat! 🙂

As a volunteer for WordCamp Pune 2024, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that will help make the event a success. Some of the tasks that you might be assigned include helping out attendees at networking and workshop areas, assisting with registration, and supporting sponsors at the venue.
It is recommended that you have some experience using WordPress and mandatory to have a WordPress.org profile if you are volunteering. If you do not have a profile yet, you can easily create one by registering by clicking ‘Create an Account’ here on the WordPress.org website.
In terms of selecting volunteers, it is important to note that there are limited spots available. Therefore, we will be looking for volunteers who have a proven track record of being good open-source citizens and comply with the GPL licence. We may also run a check on the internet to see if you have any examples of good and professional conduct.
