This is a writing workshop, so a laptop or notebook and pen is prefered.
Outline and Resources
Define the brand and the purpose you want to convey.
- Facilitators can give their examples.
- Give a quick intro about yourself and define what you want to convey
- Who are you? Freelancer, service, product, and differences.
Structure and Content
- Concise introduction
- Value proposition
- Achievements (don’t go overboard here)
- For Brands (Values, Vision) – applies if they are authentic
Tone and Voice:
- Authentic to yourself
- Professional tone (Grammar, spellcheck)
- Engagement (next steps, action, etc)
- Objective tone. Write specifics about yourself.
Tips for Writing About Yourself in the Third Person
- Where 3rd person is used
- When to use first person (personal profile, Instagram)
- Same profile but in first person and third person.
