Call for Facilitators

WordCamp Pune is coming back on 8 February 2026 at MCCIA Trade Tower, Pune, and we’re looking for talented facilitators to lead our hands-on workshops. WordCamp Pune does not follow the usual speaker format; instead, we bring people together to learn by doing with support from facilitators who guide attendees through real tasks and practical exercises. 

Workshops will focus on applying skills, not just talking about them. If you know WordPress inside out, have real experience with freelancing, development, design, writing, SEO, business, or community contribution, we want you to help others learn through action.

Why Facilitate at WordCamp Pune?

Being a facilitator is more than standing up and talking.

You will:

• Guide participants through hands-on workshop activities. 
• Share your real-world experience and practical tips.
• Help attendees build something they can take home.
• Work alongside a team of facilitators for each workshop. 

What Do We Expect?

Before applying, review the list of workshops and pick the one you’re best suited to guide. Facilitators are there to support small groups throughout the session, not just present information. Workshops will range across skill levels, so there’s room for beginners and seasoned pros alike.

Every workshop will have multiple facilitators working together. When you apply, tell us clearly why you are a good fit for that workshop and how your experience will help attendees succeed.

If selected, you will get:

• A free ticket to WordCamp Pune 2026. 
• An opportunity to connect with fellow WordPress professionals.
• A chance to build your presence in the community.
• We may also host a pre-event meet-up dinner for facilitators if we can support it.

How to Apply

Each workshop requires its own application. If you want to facilitate more than one, submit once per workshop.

To apply, log in with your WordPress.org account and fill out the facilitator form. If you don’t have an account yet, create one on WordPress.org first.

If you’d like to apply to multiple workshops, please submit the form multiple times, once for each topic.
