Indira Biswas is a Quality Assurance Engineer and open-source advocate, focused on delivering bug-free and well-documented software. She is an active Contributor to Core, Photos, Translation, and Test to the WordPress Project and a graduate of the WordPress Contributor Mentorship Program, with notable contributions to Hindi translations.
She has spoken and facilitated workshops on getting started with WordPress contribution at community events includingWordCamp Pune, WordCamp Kolkata and Women in WordPress meetups, helping beginners navigate contribution workflows with confidence.
Growing up in a small town in central India, Indira experienced how WordPress can create meaningful career opportunities without relocating to a big city.
