Why Budget Transparency?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As you can see from the budget numbers above, hosting a WordCamp is no small feat. From securing a venue to providing refreshments, and printing badges to providing water, every detail involves a cost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our team works tirelessly to stretch every rupee, ensuring the event remains accessible, viable and sustainable. Also when we say, our team – we are a group of unpaid volunteers who live in Pune, and do this because we all love WordPress and the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The general ticket price of \u20b9500 ($5.87) <\/em>does not even come close to covering the actual cost per attendee. The actual cost per person is slightly over \u20b92,000 (US $<\/em>23.49)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
