In this session Makrand would help people understand, translating WordPress into Marathi is easy & simple.
Anyone having knowledge of English and Marathi language can do it.
WordPress Polyglot site is made for Localization of WordPress. Makrand would like to motivate people to contribute to it.
WordPress is already available to use in the Marathi language. If more people’s starts contributing, more themes and plugins can be translated.
There are more than hundreds of popular themes and plugins on WordPress repository. If at least they are translated into Marathi then many Marathi peoples can use WordPress easily in Marathi.
On the occasion of Global Translation Day first, Makrand gathered many peoples to translate WordPress in Marathi. He found that some suggestions were getting rejected by General translation editor (GTE).
Not every time, GTE can explain reasons for rejecting strings. But Makrand will guide new contributor and explain them ways to get in touch with Marathi GTEs. So better translations will be possible.
Also, attendees will know benefits of contributing back to the community.
या सत्रात, वर्डप्रेसचा मराठी अनुवाद करणे सहज व सोपे आहे, हे लोकांना समजण्यास मकरंद मदत करत आहे, आणि महत्वाचं म्हणजे ज्याला इंग्रजी व मराठी भाषा येते ते हे करू शकतात.
वर्डप्रेस समुदायामध्ये पॉलीग्लोट ही साइट वर्डप्रेसचे स्थानिकरण करण्यासाठी बनली आहे आणि तिथे योगदान करायची प्रेरणा लोकांना द्यायला मकरंदला आवडेल.
वर्डप्रेस तसे मराठी भाषेत तयार असून वापरण्यासाठी उपलब्ध आहे. लोक अधिक संख्येने योगदान देतील तर, आणखी बरयाच थीम आणि प्लगइन भाषांतरित होतील.
वर्डप्रेसच्या भांडारात शंभरहुन अधिक लोकप्रिय थीम आणि प्लगइन आहेत, जर त्या मराठीमध्ये अनुवादित झाल्या तर अनेक मराठी लोक वर्डप्रेस मराठीमध्ये सहज वापरू शकतात.
जागतिक भाषांतर दिन पहिला या प्रसंगी,मकरंदने मराठी अनुवादयासाठी पुष्कळ लोक जमवले. अनुवाद वर्गणीदार हे वाक्याचे मराठीत प्रस्ताव देतात आणि सामान्य भाषांतर संपादक स्वीकारायचे अथवा नाकारायचे काम करतो.
सामान्य भाषांतर संपादक ते का नाकारल याचे कारणे स्पष्टीकारण देऊ शकत नाही. त्यासाठी नवीन अनुवाद वर्गणीदार हे सामान्य भाषांतर संपादकांशी कसे संपर्कात राहतील व त्याचे विविध मार्ग याबद्दल मकरंद मार्गदर्शन करेन. त्यामुळे उत्कुष्ट अनुवाद होणे शक्य होईल. तसेच उपस्थितांना त्यांच्या वैयक्तिक फायदे आणि समुदायात सहभाग दिल्याचे लाभ समजतील.
